Unfortunately… I didn’t get into the nursing program at Snow College because instead of looking at my cumulative GPA they only looked at a few classes and for some reason I didn’t even get the extra points for taking all of the pre-requisites and the lady in charge simply stopped emailing me back. Oh well….I guess I just have to keep trying. I just sent my applications in to the DATC and will HOPEFULLY get accepted and start in January but until then I’m going to work all summer then move to Logan for Medical Assisting this fall. The only problem is I have NO idea who I’ll live with. Anyone looking for a roommate? haha. But other then that, life is good! I've really started to appreciate the little things in life and I've learned how to not care what people think about me and just be my own person. I may not be the prettiest, the smartest, or the funniest...and I may be slightly odd and scatter-brained...but I have people who love me for me and i'm happy with who I am!
Oh and I had pretty much the best weekend EVER! Working full-time really burns me out so having four days off in a row was AMAZING! : ) I went to my sister Megan’s graduation on Thursday and then we went out to Sizzler’s as a family. I can’t believe my little sister is all grown up! It’s so weird to think that she’ll be starting college this fall.
On Friday, me and Nicole went to Layton to take care of some things and then came back to BC and went to the carnival at my work and then afterwards we went to the Relay for Life. I had my palm read and she said that I have a long healthy life line but next to it is another possible lifeline that is much shorter and she told me I needed to stop doing reckless things like speeding or else my life will be cut short. She also said I have a guardian angel who is working hard to keep me on the right path and looking after me which I thought was pretty cool. : ) Although I guess there was another girl who was told by two different fortune tellers that she was going to die young in a car accident. Scary!!

On Saturday, me, Nicole, and her stepsisters went to Lagoon! We started off going down the slides and such at Lagoona beach and then just laying out and soaking in the sun. Oh it felt wonderful I’m so glad summer is nearly here! After getting super sunburned we got dressed and went on a few rides. It was about this time that I think everyone started getting really tired and kinda cranky but we all went on a few more rides before leaving. I also got a Henna tattoo on my wrist in Chinese that says “Love” and of course, my favorite, cookies and cream dippin’ dots!! YUMMMMM!!

I slept in and didn’t end up going to church this morning because I felt I deserved one day off from everything to just be super lazy and do whatever the heck I want before going back to work tomorrow... which means today all I will be doing is reading and watching TV. Yay! : )
